So I can't fit everything that is going on in my life on here, so I'll make it brief...
I delivered our first child almost 3 weeks ago at 32 weeks emergency c-section. He is in the NICU and is making progress but it is slow. My husband and I both went back to work in order to keep our time for when our son comes home. Work is going ok for both of us. We go each night up to the hospital about 30 min. away from home to see him. We hold him for a few hours and then travel back home. We get home I usually have to pump, then I make something for us to eat, then we watch tv while we eat and go to bed around 11pm, because that's what time it is (I would love more sleep, but can't make that work right now). I get up throughout the night to pump and then we do it all over again. I'm exhausted...I also found out while I was pregnant that I need to have my gallbladder removed, I have 4 stones. So I have an appointment to see the dr. and I'm hoping to get it removed next week. Meanwhile my husband had a check up on a previous condition and the dr. suggested a surgery. Now I agree with the surgery 100% but my husband wants to do it this year because we have meant all our deductible and everything. Normally I would be all for this, but I just feel like this is too much for me to deal with...I've dealt with a lot in my lifetime and have handled it well, but I think I'm at the breaking point. I don't want to have to pay a lot of money at the beginning of the year because my husband does need this surgery, but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with mine and possibly his "down time" when we will be bringing home a new baby soon. I don't know what feedback I'm looking for, I think I just needed to vent but some thoughts and encouragement would be welcomed... Just overwhelmed!! THANKS!~

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
The surgeries are a necessary thing so I would do them now especially since it's a financial benefit.
It's a lot to face right now but when it's all over, you'll have your health and a new baby to take care of nothing to stop you from enjoying yourself.
It appears that you have several life transitions happening right now. It appears that the surgery that your husband needs will be a good idea since he has met the deductible. What is important is that you take care of yourself and focus on caring for your new baby.
I don't know if you have any family or friends close by, but a little a help from family or a friend may be a consideration. We women tend to take on a lot, but it is okay to ask for help.
