Good Morning,
So I'm new here, but I have an issue that I need some assistance on....
I have a friend who I've been friends with for 31/2 years now. She is a single mother, who tries to live a nice life style. Anyways, She has been through a lot called me several times a day every week about things in life that were going wrong or whatever. She was a very OCD person, so everything her neighbors did made her mad..there was always something going on and I was really the only closes friend she had, she doesn' t have siblings and her parents live in another town. I've babysat for free, helped her out in a lot of ways...
While she has had things going on... so have I. I have not been able to get pregnant for 8 years, my husband has depression and was suicidal at one time (he is a TON better, as we got him a lot of help). But anyways she knew all this and knows other everyday life struggles that I have. I started doing infertility cycles and noticed that she stopped talking to me a few weeks ago.
So I asked her while we were at work if she was mad at me, or if I did something, as I ran through everything in my head trying to make sense of it all. She said no, she just needed space. But then she called me after work and said her chiropractor doesn't know why she can't move her neck very well, as she has a lot of medical issues. He asked her if she had stress in her life...she said no everything's going good. So he said well is someone's stress stressing you out? She apparently thinks it is me and my life. So she has to take a break from me!?!?!
I feel like this is the most ridiculous thing to ruin a friendship. I mean I understand taking on someone's stress, but she stressed me out and I didn't end our friendship...that's what good friends do, right? I just am hurt and she comes into the office at work and talks to everyone else and walks by me, but doesn't even say hi. Why do I feel like I've done something wrong, when I haven't....I want our friendship, but part of me is done...how can I trust our friendship if I will stress her out too much?
I'm just looking for thoughts...not sure what to think or feel right now :(

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
It is painful. I know. But as we each have had to find our way in life, we also have to allow others to find their own. Like you and your husband who worked so hard to overcome depression! He was ready to choose a different path and has found so much more strength. When your friend is ready, she will find her own. No matter what, honor your heart, acknowledge the beauty of your gifts and your wonderful capacity to be a friend. True gifts.
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
"...When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for your kind words and making me think in this sense...I think it will ease the hurt. Thank you! :)
