I remember when I was in school, I would go in the bathroom and just cry my heart out and then splash my face with water and hope noone would be able to tell. Yes, that didn't work my face and nose and all were red as fire from crying so hard. Crying does make some people feel worse while it is happening but hopefully you feel a little better now. I am sorry you had such a bad day at school. I really hope tomorrow is a better day. Oh and I hate it too when everyone keeps asking "are you ok" duh? Of course not! Just know it really is because they care. Take care.

Hi. I'm "old" now, but I suffered horrible depressions in High School, walking down the halls with tears running down my cheeks, hiding out in the bathroom -- and with no really "good" reason. I needed medication, only didn't know it til my late 30's. See a doctor about the possibility that you may have a treatable depression. It could make your school years SO much better for you!

thanks for the replies, I went into school on the non pupil day yesterday to finish my coursework and I ended up sitting in the music room with my teacher just crying, waayy more than usual, I ended up telling her I tried to kill myself and that I cut, she did help a bit, then i went back to textiles and just started crying again..so my teacher told me to go outside so I was sitting on the steps and like 7 teachers walked past and asked me if I was ok, it's like clearly not...actually one teacher took more of an interest and stayed with me for a minute, then I was talking to my textiles teacher again and she got my tutor, even though I told her not to and then she came in and gave me her number, and so did my textiles teacher lol, so now I have people to talk to :)

I completely understand. I think the worst part is when you really don't want to cry, but just can't help it. Things and people just get to you and the tears just cannot be stopped. As with other things, I try to avoid letting people see my emotion and run to hide somewhere and pull myself together.
