ive read tons of books on grief..grief comes in stages and waves. you think your done with one stage and progress to another, then you slide back. this can go on for as long as your grief process takes. somedays are going to be better than others, while some days you just wanna curl up in a ball and die. theres one book that helped me called A Piece of my Heart: living thru the grief of miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death

I know exactly how you are feeling. We felt a sense of hope even at our daughter's service that things would be okay and then when I woke up the next day I felt this overwhelming sense of dread and sadness. It was almost as if after the service life was supposed to go on and yet I felt like there was no real meaning. Plus, it seemed like the focus was not supposed to be as much on my sweet baby and others were moving forward and that was really hard for me. We had actually spent the first two weeks after she had died at my mom's house (they were caring for us) and then to return back to our house was especially difficult. Moving on I found to be the hardest thing because it was like you needed to move forward but still felt so overwhelmed by all your pain. My prayers and thoughts are with you and I am so sorry for the pain that you are experiencing. Lots of hugs!

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your baby. So sad- you have found a place where people can and will really help you get through the rough first days.
It really feels like one step- forward two steps back- I always say this here (getting to be like a broken record) it is one day at a time. Just do the very best you can to get through each day. Take care- come back here often- these moms understand like no one can!!!

I am so sorry about your little girl. I wish I knew how to tell you to grieve and come to a point where you aren't going backwards with the healing. It's day to day, honestly. Don't expect so much from yourself right now. Take everything one day at a time and before long, you'll realize you're moving forward.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your baby girl. You have found a wonderful place that you can vent your sadness, your anger, and anything else you feel. We have all been there or are going through it right now. Some days feel like you are moving forward and then BAM! you're hit and you fall 5 steps back. All I can say is just expect to fall backwards, but when it happens let yourself feel the pain. Let yourself feel all the emotions. Just be honest with yourself. I learned to live each day one at a time. Please just be patient with yourself. It takes time. Once again, I'm so sorry about your baby girl. I lost my daughter as well. im sorry to hear about ur loss. my husband and i lost our second baby boy on may 12th. i was 23 weeks. we have a three year old that we both love very much, but we just like u go through the same thing. the week after it seemed like stuff was only gettin worse than it was right after it happened. i felt like we were drifting apart and we both turned into zombies with each other. we kinda felt like happiness would never return and i felt like just moving back home to tx and starting all over.

we talked and realized it was all part of our grief journey. things are alot better these past few days, but we wont be surprised if the bad days return. like someone earlier pointed out, grieve does go in cycles, sometimes u 2 wont even be on the same page, tomorrow will be a mth for me i hope its atleast a somewhat ok day for us. we will see.
