Placenta infection....

I want to start trying again now but letting my fiance make the call when he is ready

Unknown cause of death, pregnant again after 4 months... but this time I'm high risk and have extra support and monitoring.

A multitude of problems, they assume the cause of death is lack of nutrients and oxygen due to the placenta being so small.

Not trying again any time soon, probably give it a year.

the fluid around the baby had a infection and want into Lucas Lungs. I'm pregnant now after almost a year of losing my son.

Max's cause of death in unknown. In my head it was either a blood clot or umbilical cord compression.

I had a complication during labor and my perfectly healthy baby was deprived of oxygen. So although it's sort of explained why my baby died, my doctor said she was "stumped" as to why I had that complication because there was nothing in my records or in the tests that were done that would explain it. I was told to wait 4 months to conceive again so I waited until then.

Upon delivery, it was learned that the umbilical cord got twisted cutting off oxygen to Jude, he would of died w/ in 20min. Due to the coloration of the the cord doctors suspected that he would of died the day before. I had no idea until I went into labor that anything was even wrong. Everything prior was healthy and just as they should of been. Doctors reassured us that what happened to our baby Jude LaVere Williams only happens in 1% of pregnancies and that it was nothing that my husband and I had done wrong and there was nothing we could of done to prevent it.

I would like to try again w/ in a year but everything is so fresh still, we haven't came to definate decision.

My son died from a clot in the cord. We are just starting to ttc. If I am lucky enough to get pregnant again, I will be taking injections of Lovenox and monitored a lot more closely.

Unknown loss at 12 weeks, unknown loss at 7 weeks, then successful pregnancy and healthy baby boy, unknow stillbirth almost a year ago. This journey has been 5 years. Too often nothing can be found that caused our babies' death. It so sad.

My son had downs syndrome and I lose him at 28 weeks. They said sometimes babies with chromosomal disorders just don't make it full term. And when I delivered him they saw that the umbilical cord was very thin where it went into him.

We're trying to conceive again now but I have PCOS so who knows when I could get pregnant again.

I have a Factor V Leiden Mutation. There was no proof but it was guessed that I probably had a clot in the cord or placenta that kept oxygen from my son. He was born still Dec. 18th 2007, and I got pregnant in May of 2008. I had to take shots of lovenox, then switch to heparin before delivery. Then take cumadin for 6wks post pregnancy.

I had every test they could think of doing and found no cause of death, a fluke is what they called it.

Doc said to wait two cycles, I should get my second cycle in about two weeks, so we will start ttc again in March. Although it may sound very soon to some, my husband and I feel that it is the best for us. Also, I was only 22 weeks so my body got back to normal almost immediately

Forgot to mention that we are going to start trying in April. It will be six months after Max was born.

My son's umbillical cord was very skinny at the insertion and was the wrong color and shape. Then they said the placenta "showed signs" of infection; one doctor said this happens normally during birth and another said it was probably the cause. So I guess I have two potential causes...so I still don't know exactly what it was. He was a big boy so it didn't cause any growth restriction, so maybe it was the infection? Makes me pretty mad I had no idea I had an infection...

Anyway, I waited three cycles to TTC again after the vaginal delivery of my 28 week baby.

It has been 5 months since the delivery of my healthy baby girl at 37 weeks. I have no answers... The only thing that I have heard is "These things happen".

I will be seeing a specialty OBGYN on Feb 15th to talk about trying again.
