Since we bought everything for Ty with the intention of reusing it for future children we decided to keep it. It wasn't specifically for Ty, it was for all our children. The things that we did get specifically for Ty are now in his memory box but everything we have (besides clothes) are gender neutral and I think it'll be nice that his siblings have something that was his first, even though he didn't get to use it. We took down a few things only because we have a tiny place, one bedroom, but we did leave some larger things like his bassinet and swing up and I find they are nice comforting reminders that he really was with us.

I lost my son when I was 25 weeks pregnant. So I didn't have anything for him. But if I did I would of used for my next child. But it is your decision on what u want to do. Just think about it.

I kept some stuff and have even used some of the clothes I bought as gifts for a friend or family members new baby. I donated 4 bags of maternity clothes to a local crisis pregnancy center. They give the clothes to needy moms. We kept the furniture in hopes of putting another baby in it. Do what feels best for you.

I lost my angel at 40 weeks and the day I found out I lost her I came home and packed everything away into spacesaver bags. I did this even before I delivered her. Thinking back I don't know how I managed, but I think this was just a way of venting my anger and making me realise that I'm not going to have the baby I planned for.

For months later I contemplated the question of what to do with all the stuff. Some days I felt like making a big fire and just burning it to have something physical to express whats going on inside me.

However, I got through it and kept it all. Now my rainbow is wearing her sister's clothes and stuff. I kept a few items of clothes and soft toys separate in my memory box for my angel. These items will always be hers and hers only. The rest of it i'm using for my rainbow. It's just a matter of wearing an older sibling's clothes. Our angels will never be replaced and I believe that they'd want to pass their belongings on to their siblings.

In the end, do with it what you need to, but remember, it's just worldly things.

I went thru the same feelings. In the end, I kept a few things that were special to Gaines, like the outfit he wore in his picture. The rest I gave to my best friend who I found out was pregnant 5 days after my angel was born. The diapers, bottles, etc. wasn't a hard decision, but the clothes were very hard to part with. I finally came to understand that I would've given all of this to her anyway. It makes me sad to see her son in the clothes, but its almost healing at the same time. It kind of gives me hope for the future.

My things for Annabelle were ALL given to us from a friend of my Mom's who kept everything from when she had her last baby 2 years ago. I gave it all away to a family who was expecting their second baby. Because I was 18 when I had Annabelle, I now wish that I had given all of my stuff to another girl who was pregnant in her teens. I think she would have appreciated it much more than the family I gave the stuff too. The stuff I bought for her personally I kept, but I have yet to look at them and it's been almost 6 months. My boyfriend and Mom packed them up as per my request before I came home from the hospital. They are being stored at my nana's house right now.

The most important thing is to do what is right for YOU!

At this point I'm keeping most of it. I took her box of toys and I asked her if it was ok if her little brother or sister play with them and I also looked at all her clothes and said if you have a little sister she will be so lucky to have such pretty clothes from her older sister. However I did take back a few larger items that were gender specific since we don't even know if we will be able to get pregnant again and if we do get blessed and if it's a boy I don't think he would like a pink stroller. It was very hard taking them back. I don't want to shut the door...I keep it open and every night I walk by and look in and say good night to her. Yes it's hard to look in and see that empty chair where I should be rocking her, but I think it helps me to be able to go in and sit when I need to and read her books and talk to her.
