Today was supposed to be my due date. My precious Evelyn would have been born today. Getting up this morning was difficult and challenging. The day has been full of tears. I have no baby to bring home. I have no cries to comfort. The pain is indescribable. I want more than anything right now for my baby to me with me right now. I bought more decorations for her room. Somehow it comforts me even though I know she will never see it. I miss her so much. It's so unfair. I went to the beach today and just sat there and cried. Just trying to make sense of it all. Nothing works. No one can say or do anything that can help ease the pain. It hurts so much. Missing my precious Evelyn. I love you so much.

You're right. No one can say or do anything to take away your pain. Unfortunately it's something you have to go through. The "due date" is a very hard day to get through. I remember when mine came up.....my husband talked me into going to visit a friend so that I could get my mind off it for a while. I really wish I hadn't done that. Maybe it works for some, but I felt as if I couldn't grieve in front of her, because she didn't understand. I wanted to be by myself and I couldn't be. You have to do what's right for you to get through not only the due date, but your grief in general. If getting decorations for her room helps you then do that. I remember buying infant loss books. I got my hair done one day. Treat yourself well. You've been through a lot. My heart goes out to you. Know you are in my thoughts. Hugs to you!

Thank you Angel Mommies. I don't know what I would do without you guys. You guys are there when I need you and even though I said that nothing anyone says or does will ease the pain but I was wrong. You Angel Mommies have been there for me and have opened up your hearts and arms to me and that makes all the difference in the world. You guys have made me feel better and are helping me so much to get through these difficult days. For that i thank each and every one of you.I hate that we have to experience this kind of pain. When I was at the beach it gave me a chance to just cry and cry and cry some more until I couldn't cry anymore. Then I finally had to just sit there and speak to my angel and tell her how much I loved her and missed her. Rochelle, it is difficult to cry and mourn in front of anyone who doesn't understand. I'm sorry you weren't able to grieve and mourn properly. I want all of you to know i am also here for each of you, any time, any day. Thank you so much. Much love to each of you.

If I wouldn't have found an infant loss group (not this one at the time) when I had my loss I don't know how on earth I would've gotten through that time. It's the best support anyone going through this can have. Sometimes you have to cry and cry and other times you just can't cry anymore. I remember never knowing when crying jags would come on! It's been some years for me now, but I remember. I vowed when it happened that I would always be there for others experiencing the same thing and would open my heart to them. We need each other:)
