I'm watching 19 Kids and Counting and I find myself getting a little irritated. How does this family get 19 KIDS??! And I can't get 1?? I randomly come across all these little things that just get under my skin. The other one is Teen Mom. It doesn't so much bother me that they're young mothers, just the way they take care of their children. And how they act and don't act for that matter. Grrrrr on these little things!!

Seriously, don't watch those shows!! I avoid them like the plague and just know that they'll make me so angry... Try to focus on things that will encourage you and give you some hope instead, or things that are totally neutral! I know I can be angry for days after just one comment, one careless sentence, seeing teenage moms in town drowning their newborns with 1+ milk... try to stay away from it all... sending hugs

I can't watch any of those shows either. In fact tv has become such a challange. I watch a lot of the food network, hgtv and the science chanel. Less chance of babies and pregnancy.

I can't watch the 2nd season of teen mom but I did see the first. I just can't comprehend how these young, irresponsible people get babies and I don't. I have to wait forever and then have my baby pass one day before he's due. Right now I can't watch anything baby related. It makes me so mad and jealous. Hugs, Pamela

The one that bothers me is "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant." I took care of my body from the instant I found out I was pregnant, and I lost my little boy. Some of these women drink, smoke, and do all kinds of crazy things, and they have beautiful, healthy babies. I agree with you, it's very frustrating.

I quite watching those shows because I just found myself becoming more bitter. I have a hard time even watching pregnancy test commercials. Sending you a hug.

100% agreed! 19 kids....19!!!!! Is that not greedy! I hate to look at it that way, but I can't even bring one live healthy baby into the world and she's on 19! Teen Mom also makes me angry.

Before I lost Kaylee, I watched ALL of those shows, in fact Teen Mom was one of my favorites, but since losing Kaylee, I tried to watch it once and I was in tears, 15 minutes into the show. I mean, the way that some of these parents treat their children just blows my mind. It has nothing to do with them being young either, I know a few girls who had kids at 16 and they are GREAT parents. My tv show watching is definately more limited now! My advice is to just stay away from it.

Before I lost Adalyn I watched all of them bringing home baby, I didnt know I was pregnant, and my favourites was Teen Mom and one born every minute but since I lost her I cant watch them it kills me. Its hard to watch anything on tv without seeing a commercial for one of them

I feel ya!! I am 24 will be 25 in a month. And babies and pregnancy is ALL around us right now!! And I can't help but think that my husband and I are so much more qualified parents than some that are getting to be right now.... Hang in their!! Our time will come also!!

Oh don't get me started on these shows PLEASE...I could be on my soap box for days!! I absolutely HATE those shows...and I used to LOVE all of them...the Jon and Kate Plus 8, A Baby Story, I Didn't Know I was Pregnant, etc. Now I cannot even stomach it when I am changing the channels and happen to see the name of the show pop up on the screen. Yes - it does seem incredibly unfair and I find myself being VERY judgemental so I have learned that I just have to not allow myself to watch those things.
