I just lost my baby girl last week. It all started when I went to the hospital and stayed there for a week when I was 15 weeks pregnant, with an infection. Was also informed that I had complete placenta previa and my baby was breached. Left the hospital with antibiotics and they told me my amniotic fluid was low. Started seeing a maternal fetal specialist, infection specialist and my gyno once or twice a week. Fluid started to decrease and we were given the option to terminate the pregnancy. I couldn't do that, her heartbeat was good and she was a fighter. We decided to continue the pregnancy and fight for our baby. I was out on bedrest all this time and I even got an IV. Nothing helped. Last Monday December 5, I saw my baby kicking. On Wednesday December 7, at my gyno appointment, there was no heartbeat. I was in shock. By the time I went to hospital my baby was already coming out. Less than an hour after that I held my baby girl in my arms. I asked my husband to take pictures of her. She was a fighter. Even at the end I feel my baby intervened for me. I was supposed to have a c-section all this time and that day placenta had moved and baby was still breached but coming out. I had no time to mourn my baby girl. After what seemed to be a long time I had to leave my baby because I had to get D&C to remove placenta. My husband got to spend more time with her before they took her. When I was released the following day we had to make funeral and burial arrangements. We were able to send someone to buy her some dresses and we had one altered to fit her. On Friday December 9, just 2 days after giving birth to my baby girl we gave her a beautiful good bye. We were allowed to spend time with her before they sealed the casket because the viewing was about to start. We took pictures of my beautiful baby girl in her white dress. She was so beautiful looked like a doll. I cry almost everyday for my baby girl. I talk to her like she was here. I just want her to know that I love her with all my heart and I miss her like crazy!
