My brother and SIL are pregnant and tomorrow we find out what they are having. I'm dreading it. Either way I will love my niece or nephew to pieces, but I really really hope it's a girl. They have my 16 month old niece who I absolutely adore. But my Mason is supposed to be the first grandson. If they have a boy I feel like it will rip my heart out, because they get to 'have' the first grandson.
To make it even more gut wrenching, she is due the day before Mason was due. I haven't admitted this to anyone because I feel like I'm being selfish, but sometimes it's hard to not say 'that should have been me...'

I remember my sister telling me that she was pregnant with a boy in November. Only 4 months after my baby boy's passing. She told me with so much joy in her voice, ( it was over the phone) Me and her are not close at all! So it didnt help much that we pretty much dont like each other. It was horrible. I tried explaining it to my family, but they dont understand.
