I wanted to share photos of my daughers grave. Who do you share these with?? Will people think I'm wierd? And I supposed to be exicted.

When I say, "hey! want to see my daugter's new headstones?" Are people supposed to be thrilled about this?

Well, of course not. There is nothing normal about it.

In any case, ... knew I could share here because at least you'd understand.

Thank You what a nice blog and it;s okay to show pics of a headstone of a loved one. I have tons of my grandma and grandpas and my dad made me take some with him posing with the headstones. This is how I look at headstomes they are permanent places for us to grieve we need to see them. Thank you sharing Anna's grave with us.

Your blog is very beautiful and very moving. Many of my darkest hours have been spent in the cemetery where Kaya's ashes were originally interred - and many moments of pure and intense connection with her spirit have happened there as well. I see this as part of the eternal co-existence of our love for our angels and our heartbreak at their loss.

Thank you for sharing Anna's grave with us all. Angel headstones always make me sad, but I still love looking at them because for a long time they were the only sign that other babies had been born angels besides Kaya.

And yes, it does feel very alien, abnormal and just plain wrong to be a young mum with a baby in the cemetery.

The pictures are beautiful. My sister is in the process of getting Owen's stone, but because she wants it perfect, it may take some time to decide what to put on it.

Yes, you can be excited to share your pictures, our stories and special moments are different from those who have not been where we are. When you share her pictures you are sharing your daughter, you are proud, you deserve to be proud. Anna will always be a part of your life, there are going to many special things you will do for her as time passes, share those moments.

Those who love you will embrace what makes you feel happy.

my thoughts are with you and your family.
i share my photos some are ok with it and others not. those who are not i will not show them the new ones. my daughter was born still 3 years ago to day and i now have an almost 2 year old. birthdays and holidays i will decorate her stone and take a photo of her and her brother. also before we took my son home from the hospital we took him to meet his sister and took a photo of corse. i use a photo of the two of them has my greating photo on my space some say it makes them sad but i don't care what it does to them because for me it is an honar to show off my son and daughter.
