I started taking provera to get my period started and I thought is was to start after I finished all 10 pills but I have bleeding like a period after only taking 2 pills. Is that normal or should I call the doctor and see whats up? Im glad I got my period but I just want to make sure its ok that I got it so early. Thanks

My doc had told me that usually you start within a couple days of taking the last pill, but sometimes you'll start earlier. He told me that if I started while taking the pills to discontinue taking them. I took provera last cycle and started 2 days after the last of the 10 pills. Unfortunately, I'm on cd38 and still haven't gotten another period so he has me coming in tomorrow for a pg test (which I know I'm not) and then he'll give me provera again.

I think you should be fine, but I'd still call the doc to see if they want you to continue taking them or stop like my doc told me.

Maybe she (af) was on her way on her own. Your probably good to stop taking the rest of the pills.
