The anniversary of my daughters death is just 5 months away.
I would like to do a memorial walk of some sort. I have already set the date but don't really know what else I want to do.
I'm envisioning a little memorial service, followed by a short (1-mile or so) walk to honor my daughter.
Does anyone have any suggestions? If anyone lives in MA or RI, does anyone know of a place I can use? I was thinking LIncoln Woods....but don't know if I need a special permit of some sort.
This is not a fundraiser. I just want to honor my daughter Anna. A few people have already committed to attend the walk and I am so deeply honored by this. I hope to have a big turnout. This will be a time to remember Anna...but also to speak of your own loss if you'd like.
I would love to also have someone play music, guitar, sing, whatever I can do...
Anyway, it's Saturday, June 26. Anna died at full-term on June 24, 2009.

There is an organization in Minnesota called the Missing Grace Foundation. They do a walk/run every year. They have information on how to start a walk in your state. I hope you find this helpful. See the link below and good luck!
