When I met with the funeral home, he suggested putting Addyson in the obituaries, I hadn't even thought about it, but he said sometimes it helps in the grieving process, so my boyfriend and I discussed it and decided why not, it can't hurt. I actually work for the local newspaper and employees get obituaries for free but when I called to put her in they wouldn't let me submit a photo because the public doesn't wanna see "DEAD BABIES" REALLY? so instead of catering to me, a grieving mother who just lost her beautiful baby girl, who has also been an employee for the last 10 years, they cater to the public, because people call and complain that they don't wanna open their newspapers and see dead babies. I think its rude and kinda disrespectful to my baby. Did anyone else have this problem?

We put Aaron in the obituaries but in our local paper they don't typically put pictures so we didn't have that problem. Do you think they would let you put a pic of her little feet or hands (if you have a pic like that). It is pretty rude though and I'm sorry it happened.

The thing I was upset about was when my in laws told me about the notice in the paper, I asked did they put it in deaths or births. I was still in shock with loosing my baby that when they replied 'deaths' it was just another stab in the heart :,(

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
