I am so sorry for the loss of your little girl. You sound like you are having the very similar feelings that we all had when our little ones died, so first off, I want to let you know that your feelings are normal.disbelief, despair, guilt, shock, panic, withdrawal, etc. What helped me when my little girl died was to allow myself to grieve.. cry cry and then some more, talk about her to those willing to listen, saw a therapist, journal-ed, joined a support group with other loss moms, i took flowers to her grave.. I didn't listen to anybody that tried to make me suppress my feelings/get over it/move on etc. Everyone grieves uniquely, and only you will know what you need at each moment. Its a hard hard road, but always remember, you are not alone. Reach out to understanding members of your family/friends. We are all here for you.

Well said Celian. Allow yourself to grieve how you need to. I asked myself all the same questions. My daughter was born asleep on February 15th. She had no heartbeat at our appointment to schedule our induction as well. It's not easy. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I go to her grave often and bring flowers. I just sit there and talk to her. Some days are very hard but some days you can get through. I'm back to work now. I actually am a nurse in a Pediatric intensive care unit. I help save kids lives. So I think about the loss of my daughter often at work. But I talk about her often so people can know how perfect she was. It helps me to talk about her. We are all here for you!

I am sorry for your loss! Our son was born still at 37 weeks and I feel the same way you do....it is a tragedy that no one should ever have to experience! I as well had a healthy normal pregnancy. We had an active little boy and just one day it was all taken away. My husband and I went in for my 37 week appointment and the nurse asked how is baby moving and I said not moving... we both thought it was weird since he has been very active well am ultrasound confirmed he had no heartbeat and looking at that screen was a nightmare not seeing the heart move just a still body was a terrible feeling. I felt like I was in a nightmare too. We didn't know what the cause was until he was delivered and it was due to an umbilical cord knot that had tightened as he was making his way into the birth canal. We were so close to getting to meet our little guy and I think that was what was so hard to know that you have come so far and to have something you have loved for for 9 months inside you taken away. I am truly sorry for your loss and what has helped our family out so much because we have an 8 year old son too who was looking forward to this is just talking about it whether it be with other friends or family, therapy, support group, whatever you have to do to get through your day, and know there is no right or wrong way to feel. One day I can be happy and the next a complete mess, certain things will set me off and you just have to know that it is completely okay. This is something that is going to take time, something that you will never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
