Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
I am celebrating with my grandma and my daughter on mother's day (my mother and I don't get along unfortunately). I made my grandma a scrapbook this year and it's full of pictures, momentos, etc... Grandma is making dinner, and my aunt and uncle will be there, I think my brother is coming over as well.
Mother's day is a HUGE day for me because I am going to be officially finished with school on that day, and starting my externship the next week, so I'm really excited!
We've had Mother's day over here in the UK, it was a tough day for me without Baby Rose. I was surrounded by my husbands family and held up by their love.
In the past I have taken my Mum out for afternoon tea, which she has really enjoyed. Another present we gave my Father in law recently was we made a digital photo book, of all his photos. We gave him a camera years ago, and he (like me too) had never done anything with the photos. I think he really liked it. Just an idea though
One of the things i have done is finally print out photoshopped pictures of colleen - i have gotten really beautiful gold frames and each granny will be receiving one. But i also want to do something positive for them as well, but a bit at a loss and money is tight, due to the expenses of carrying my rainbow... also looking for some great ideas!
