After I lost Eli, I thought i was the only one who had ever loss a baby so far in pregnancy. Later on found out I was not alone. Never in my life I had heard of stillbirth. Never in my life I imagine I could lose my son.
It's the most awful way of torture a mother can go through..... and it is very sad knowing that stillborns happen every single day.
I can not deal with this pain. I can't yet cope with the idea that my son is not here. I cant understand why am still here. I watched a video and it kind gives me hope... that one day i should be able to be ok in life.

For the new people here..... i am soooo sorry for your loss. I undestand ur pain...my heartand prayers go to all of you.

Marthar you are so true. how can we ever think of loosing our babies when we had so many dreams for them. I too was counting the days for my son to be born and never ever thought that the day he will be born i will be holding his dead silent cold body and not a crying kicking baby. thanks for sharing the video and this forum also let us know that we are not the only ones. But i wish no mother ever have to suffer this kind of loss.
I feel for your loss and i am sooo very sorry . i cry almost daily missing my son and i wish i can have him in my arms. life would be so different if he has not died.

We were really so blindsided! I was part of a baby center birth club..and as we progressed, some ladies did drop out because their babies died, and I saw that..but I assumed that only happened to mothers who had a poor diagnosis or some pregnancy complication...not to me, who got flying colours on all my ante-natal check ups...so I would pity those moms and then quickly flip past those posts..until I was one of them!

Wow.... I personally never heard of the term stillbirth or stillborn...... I heard of miscarriage... and knew and always heard about taking extra care the first 3 months.....

So sorry for your loss mommy of Eli. I am in the medical field and I know darn well about stillbirths. I just never thought in a million years that it would have happened to me. I guess what I'm tryingn to say is that when you are pregnant and expecting, all you can think about is the excitement and happiness of a long awaited arrival of yor baby. That is all that is runningn through your thoughts as your little one is growing inside of you. Never in a million years would any mommy think about losing their baby. The day I could not feel my baby, I was in denial and did not want to think about it. It wasn't until the third day that I knew I had to accept the fact that I did not feel my baby and I contacted my doctor. My worst fear was confirmed when the ultrasound revealed no movement and no heartbeat. I was devastated and did not still want to believe it. I still cannot believe that this has happened to me or any of us.
