Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
Whenever I think of my son and daughter, i think of how i can help...what can i do to help other families out who have gone through or are going through the same thing? So i finally decided....i'm going to donate toys to the BC Children's Hospital...not just a couple, but a HUGE tub full. I'm also in the talks to donate my Bath Bombs for the Women's Hopsital (It's attached to the Children's Hospital) I will be going to Vancouver in April/May to deliver all of the goods. I will be meeting with some people when I'm down there as well...It always makes me feel better when I do these things. It makes me feel to think that I'm helping these poor sick babies out in a small way...I would suggest that you all do this as well...not only will it help out the children, but also yourselves.

that's awesome! we donate toys to needy kids in our area. we did it even before we lost our son.

That is a really good idea. And very theraputic. In Makenzie's memory, I am going to make scrapbooks for any women who have a stillbirth at the hospital where I had her. If I can help someone, it means the world to me.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
