First, I want to express my condolences to all of you for the loss of your child. We lost our daughter at full term in September of 2010 and it was the most devastating thing I have ever experienced. I was very active on DS in the year after her death, but haven't been on here much lately.
I have a question and I hope someone might be able to relate to my situation, or possibly have some insight.
My story in a nutshell-- I was 5 months pregnant with my second child in May of 2010. I was bitten by a tick and got a bullseye rash. I was "treated" with amoxicillin (not the preferred drug) for a month and told I would be fine.
My daughter was born still in September of 2010. In hindsight, I believe I had developed the symptoms of Lyme disease (arthritis type pain, extreme fatigue) about a month before her delivery. Until now I believed her death to be due to a cord accident.
I have recently had more symptoms of Lyme disease and truly believe I am sick with it. I am now wondering if that is what possibly took my Caroline's life as well.
Has anyone else here experienced a stillbirth with Lyme?

I never had a lyme desease but I had a sinus infection which was treated with amoxicillin right before I got pregnant. Im pretty sure it's nothing to do with my baby's death but I did have a bad allergic reaction to amoxicillin. I got pregnant about a week later.
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you'll find more informations on this.
