Has anyone on here checked out the "Dieting" group here on DS? I just joined, does it work? And who wants to be a weight loss buddy with me? God knows I need it!!!
P.s. if anyone knows a good diet or exercise plan PLEASE post it for me, I gotta lose weight for my graduation :)

What I great idea! I've been dieting since mid February and am really struggling to lose the weight. Seems like I'm hungry all the time and my weight just mocks me.

I would love to lose my baby weight and a little more (I gained a rediculous amount when I was pregnant) before I start ttc in June. I would like to be as fit and healthy as I can be by then. I would love to be your weight loss buddy!! :o)

i have been having a hard time loosing this weight too! : / i have not lost any for months, seems i am stuck 16 lbs over weight, which sucks because i dont fint into ANY of my clothes!! GAH! I have heard of a program called 30 day shread. Its a DVD. I gave up all sweets, didnt seem to make a difference so far though. I should probably kick carbs too! they are one thing i crave though :P and satisfy my hunger too. i was also thinking of doing a liquid diet for a while. Drinking Bolthouse Farms or Naked juices (they have TONS of nutirents and protein ones too) I also got some all natural herbal diet pills but i have not been taking them in hopes that i am preggo, which is highly UNlikly, but i dont want to take any chances of hurting a little bean no matter what. That was one sad depressing day when i bought them, and i was at my witts end. Hopefully now that the weather is getting nicer i can get out on my bike and shead this wretched 16 lbs (which is a LOT on a 5'2" frame) Good luck to you as well!!! There is a Goal option in your profile too to keep track of your goal, mine hasnt moved in months! )

Not ready yet to start a diet, but it's a great idea and bookmarked the group for the future. Wish you the best of luck with your diet though!

I highly recommend SparkPeople.com. It's a free dieting web site that focuses on a healthier lifestyle so that the weight loss is long term.

I've lost 27 pounds since November, which is a huge achievement for me as I've been overweight/mildly obese for about 10 years.

If you join the site, I'm TARAKIZER on it.

A good healthy plan to jump start weight loss is south beach. It is a low carg lean protine for 2 weeks, then good carb whole grain for 2 weeks, and then a normal diet with moderation in high fat and simple sugar. The first time I did it I lost 12 pounds in the first 2 weeks. It is based off the cardiac diet.
