Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.

My baby boy, Fynn, was still born on April 28th 2016 so it's been about 3 and 1/2 months. I have said the same thing.. "Will I ever be normal again?". Losing my son was absolutely the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my entire life. I am so sorry you're going through this. I started going to counseling a few weeks after he was born and it has helped me a lot. I have realized that I will never ever be the same person that I was before, but it is possible to feel not so broken. I think of my son every second of every day. I talk to him and I visit him. I have a curio cabinet on the wall with all of his things from the hospital in it. I know this is a tremendously difficult time for you, but know that you are SO strong and that you WILL come out on the other side. I'm so sorry about your sweet Riley. My heart goes out to you. I hope that counseling can help. <3
I'm two years down the line and I hardly have any friends left. It made me question a lot of things and made me realise how little time I have for petty nonsense in other people's lives. It made me harsh I think. I guess my only advise is that just as you don't know how to deal with this, they also don't know, and they're also confused and worried of doing anything that may hurt you further. Patience. Lots and lots of patience. With others but mostly with yourself.
