Since Lochlan died 4 months ago, I have been asked twice (lately!) if I'm pregnant. This is by total strangers. What hurts so much is that I really want to be... we are TTC. With my other 2 boys, I lost my baby weight rather quickly (I breast-fed). I didn't get that oppertunity this time around, and I feel that my boobs are flat and sag. And my belly is constantly bloated. I'm only 5lbs heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight, but nothing fits right. When I feel I have on something I look good in, some moron who doesn't know any better, puts me back in check. My reaction to this has been the same so far... shock. Followed by shooting daggers with my eyes and walking away. Then, crying the whole way home and getting mad at DH for not telling me I look fat! I think next time I'll give them a story that will really make them regret ever asking, but I know myself better than that. I don't want to make anyone feel bad even if that's what they did to me. Just wondering... anybody else have this happen?

I'm sorry for your loss. I also had a very hard time losing the baby weight. Truth be told I think I started to eat a lot of comfort food so that is why I had such a hard time losing the weight. I had to put myself on a diet and exercise. After all that I started getting my body back. I didn't get to pre-pregnancy weight until 8 months after my loss. I think that when I learned to deal with my grief and my loss that is when I started to deal with my body.

Hello, what has helped me a lot had being the post partum shapers. Not that I am worried about how i looked..... but my sister told me it help the belly/stomach gi bacj to its normal shape. I personally having difficulty eating...... i dont get hungry...... i lost Eli when i was exactly 8 months .... i gained 25 pounds during pregnancy......... its being a month and a few days since i lost Eli...and i have lost 15 pounds. Agsin Ivdont get hungry at all....but do try to eat what I can....... Dont feel bad......worry abiut your health and getting better........ let people say whatever they want....... be happy I am sure thats what angel Lochlan wants for his mommy..... to be happy...... take care BIG HUG!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too still have a stomach after the loss of my daughter Zoey in April. I have always had such a flat stomach and looked great in a bikini ecen after having my son. Now I just hate my body. Guest it doesn't help that it's summer and that I had a month of bed rest do to complication and can just start exercising now.
I can't imagine how you must feel about people's comments after what has happend. I've only seen people that know about my loss so no one would dare say anything about me not dropping the pounds.
I hope you get pregnant soon and that you can stop worrying about your weight.

I know exactly how you feel! With my daughter i got back in shape quickly for some reason. Now, i obsessed with loosing the weight mainly because i want a clean start. I have the belly, the stretch marks, the hips...and no baby. It's just wrong and so frustrating. :(
