This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. Here it is; my little boy's first angelversary. I took the day off and stayed home with my husband because he works at night and we needed to spend some time together. For the most part I did...ok. This morning was really hard. I went thru the box that the hospital gave us and listened to the cd that was inside which I have never done before.
I miss him so much. This is not where I thought we would be a year ago. But thinking back to a year ago, we have grown so much. Our marriage stronger and so is our love for each other. Which I am so grateful for because this horrible situation can break you apart and I'm so sorry to those of you that it has happened to.
For those of you that are new to this pain; I promise it gets easier. It really does. You'll notice yourself smiling more. And laughing more. It doesn't go away. But it goes to a special place in a corner in your heart and it doesn't sting so much anymore when you think about them or talk about them.
I'm sorry for ranting. I just wanted to make it known that my little Braedyn is one today! And I wanted to give some friendly advice. Hang in there angel moms (and dads) your babies are watching you and wanna see you smile when you think of them sometimes. Kids love happy parents.

Thank you for sharing. Happy Birthday to your Braedyn. I am a newer member of the group and it is good to hear that it does get easier. My grief is very unbearable right now.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
