After my baby girl Layla died my depression has become really bad. I'm very irritable and I'm always yelling at every one at home. I've recently had my depression assets and am now taking a higher dose of meds. All I think about is having a baby but my mother and my hubby keep saying to me if I can't deal with the demands of the children I have then I shouldn't have more.
Why can't they understand that I'm totally not myself right now, and the constant demand of my children are hard to deal with right now. If my baby girl was here I'd be a proud and happy mum not a grieving guilt ridden mum.
I know I won't be getting preg any time soon, it takes me a while, but I'm on birth control now, I won't start trying till I'm in a better frame of mind and actually know what day it is with out having to ask someone or check my calendar.
I'm so hurt that they can say such things.

I am so sorry that your depression is feeling worse. I too have depression and understand how you feel irritable and out of control at times. You are right - you are not yourself right now, you are a grieving mother. Being pregnant may be more than you can cope with right now, but the time will come when you are ready.

I'm sorry for both the depression, and the hurtful comments from your family. I hope that your new meds help. In the meantime, maybe just avoid talking with your family about pregnancy, since you know what their comments are going to be like. Doesn't mean you can't think about it, but maybe you can wait to bring it up again with them until you are feeling a little stronger.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
