I have had a stillborn baby, and everyday try to find a reason for why this happened to me and my baby. I think that deep down inside i am supposed to be helping some people is some way. In my town there is little to no support for women/men who have been through this traumatic experince. I REALLY want to do something to show mommies and daddies that they aren't alone in this. i still cry everyday even though i lost my son well over a year ago. What can i do for these people? is there anything that you guys would want?
P.S... I love you Rylan and Maddy!!!

I am sorry for your loss. I think it is great you want to do something for someone. Can you contact your local hospitial or support group to see if you can be a mentor to someone. I know when I lost my son and women called me it helped SO much

That would be so awesome of you. That's a great idea. I agree with Jodie, a mentor would be great. That is what I am going to focus on this summer when school is out. I would like to work at my local hospital as a parent advisor to couples, as another option if parents would like the option. Someone who would keep in contact with the parents every other week or so. It would have been wonderful after everyone (family and friends)left my husband and here all alone to figure out and find support on our own. You know after a few weeks after this tragedy, most people just go about their own business and life, but to have a mentor or someone check on me would have been helpful!

I know in my group there is HAND (help after neonatal loss) maybe you can facilitate a group for newly bereaved parents at the local level- or I called my hospital and they said they need memory boes, and they have a knitting circle that makes little hats and blankies for these special babies- maybe there is a need in your area- that is what I am trying to do.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
