Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
For me personally I get more emotional over newborn pictures because that is forever how I will remember my son. It also makes me angry that everyone else can have a healthy newborn and I couldn't so it triggers the raw emotions of loss all over again.
My words of advice are to get earphones and listen to the radio on your computer, mp3 player, etc. I have found that when people are having conversations I can't bear to hear that these help me to tune them all out. For me personally it just helps me to not deal with the raw pain everytime a discussion comes up. Also try and avoid their workspaces if you can. If nothing else this will help you to be able to cope through your workdays so you can save all your tears for your drive home. This is how I have been able to get through these situations.
I hope you can find the strength to get through these next few months and know that we are all here to support you and talk with you if you need it.
Lots of hugs to you.
Yes, I am longing for my own baby...but I am finding joy in the new lives coming into the world.
Trust me it's the hardest time of our lives but we have to get threw it... there is no other choice other than to give up.
God bless, Your in my thoughts
