i lost my daughter jayda on march 1 2011, and i gave birth to my son 12 weeks ago, it was a stressfull pregnancy, but i had untrasounds and non stress tests every week so i knew everything was going good.i often wonder what my daughter would think of me having another baby, i think everyone of our angels would want us to have the joy of holding another baby, it was so worth it, i couldnt be happier, and i also think a piece of jayda's soul lives in ethan, i hope everything works out for you...i wish u and your family the best

Awe, Asheyg48 said it perfectly, I agree that our angel babys will be so happy for us. Thats a warming thought to have that a piece of our angels soul will be with our rainbow babies. That reminds me of something my dad said to me when he was on his last days here.. I asked him if he had anything to give me, so that I could remember him..and he said, " I made you, my blood is your blood". So when I miss him all I have to do is look in the mirror, and i see a part of him.

Im currently 14 weeks pregnant with my rainbow, and I will always have a special place for my sweet Logan. Having another baby will never replace him and Im so happy that I get another chance to add to our family.

I agree, it will be hard and stressful and after losing my angel we had to wait 6 months and I hated it, I wanted to start trying almost right away but I'm glad we waited; I wanted to be emotionally ready as well. I think a lot of it is that you miss not having that baby but you should feel ready. We are expecting twin boys this time and I was sad that one wasn't a girl which is what our angel was. I know, though that it's because I anticipated a girl for 37 weeks and didn't bring her home. I have a 4 year old daughter so I'm just enjoying my time with her. Ultimately you know your heart, if you need another month or so, take it. If you feel you can make a definitive decision with no regrets now, go for it. Thinking of you. :)

one more question though, did you use to same ob and hospital?

I am currently 23 weeks 1 day with our rainbow I did stay with the same OB and the same hospital. Although my last pregnancy ended in tragedy, my doctor and the nurses at the hospital made my experience at the hospital as good as it could have been under the circumstances, so I chose to stay with the same hospital. One of the nurses somehow even got me to laugh just 6 hours after delivering our angel, it was rather amazing.. and they all recognize me whenever I have to go in (I have gone in once with this pregnancy for contractions). I will admit that it was tough walking back into that unit for the first time, but I felt comfortable.

My OB is doing so much for me this time to prevent what happened before, so it really depends on what your experience was and what support you will be given in another pregnancy. Talk to your doctor about what they will do as far as monitoring and ultrasounds go to help you make a decision. I hope this helps!

It's been two months for us a d my need to be a mom has over come my grief. It's hard and scary about trying again and I'm horrified of betraying my son. We lost him may 10 @ 23 weeks but I have to know in my heart he would rather us be happy in remembering him and making him a big brother. We plan to us the same everything and we will be considered high risk. Hoping and praying for your happiness and success.
