Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
For the first 4-5 weeks I would feel little baby kicks, I would wake up in the middle of the night and have a pregnancy conscious moment to turn to my side if I was on my back, I would catch myself squatting to pick things up as opposed to bending over (because I was so used to having a belly and not wanting to squish her that I would squat instead), and I had to try really hard to break the habit of rubbing my belly. And a few other things we do as pregnant mommies.
It will go away with time, but it is a hard thing to experience. My thoughts are with you. Hugs.

I had a few panic attacks because of this. I remember one in particular where we had settled in for the evening, I was cooking dinner, my oldest son was watching tv, and my husband in the shower. Everything was good and all of a sudden I had this intense panic feeling. I didn't know why..it seemed to come out of nowhere. After thinking about it I realized I was panicking because the baby wasn't there. It was my maternal instinct to take care of the baby after he was delivered and he wasn't there, and it went against everything I had in me. Once I realized why I was having an anxiety attack it made me bust out in tears. I was like, Really? Panic attacks on top of everything else?
The anxiety has eased up at this point though, it does after time. And the habits stop as well. I'm so sorry youre experiencing all of this as well. Hugs and love. Jessie
