I would love to be your friend! I hope you don't mind that my son's death was not a stillbirth. He was born with a heart condition and only lived for 7 weeks. I joined this group because no one talks on the infant loss group and I listen to everyone's stories on here and our pain is still the same.

Amanda, I totally agree with you about facebook - everyone's meaningless daily posts about what they are doing started to annoy me after losing Emerson. I am almost embarrassed that i used to put stupid posts on there too. But it has now become a great place to connect with other angel mommies. and Michelle you are definitely welcome here, i think that anyone who has lost a child at any age suffers similar pain, i would hope this forum is not a place of judgment, i have only found kind people here so far and hope you are able to do the same.

Michelle, I would love to be your firend. It doesn't matter at what point a child was lost, the pain is still the same.

It's funny how what we thought was important to post before our losses now seems like a waste of time to even mention. I think if anything positive came out of our tragedies is that it put things in perspective about what really matters in life.

What a wonderful idea Amanda.. I too deleted more than half my friends on facebook after losing Annabelle, and I've kept only the ones who I know wouldn't look at her picture and think "Who takes pictures of a dead baby?" I know it's harsh, and unfortunately I know that some people would say that because they simply do not understand.

I have my settings on facebook so that you can't find me through "search" so I will add you instead if that is okay. All other mommies, I am Rebecca Elena Abreu on facebook and if you happen to find me then please add!
