Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
I lost my son at 39 weeks due to a cord accident. I had a difficult pregnancy with preterm labor, possible appendicitis, and issues with large blood vessels. In the end he was perfect but his cord got around his neck and my labor went too fast to save him. I was so angry with the doctor at first but knew it was really not his fault. Then I blamed myself for not calling sooner but this is all part of the stages of grief.
If you truly believe the doctor did something wrong then I would look into it but you may be looking for answers that just aren't there. It could have just happened and you have to accept that. It is hard to do and takes time.
I have an amazing relationship with my dr and the whole practice which has also been very helpful.
Very natural feelings doesn't mean its easy, but it may settle down that insistent need to know. Good luck in your journey.
