I really liked the book "Empty Cradle, Broken Heart" because it discusses miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss.... I know some of it may be difficult for your friend to relate to but I found the book to be very healing. I don't know of a book that deals strictly with miscarriage. Hope that helps. As someone who has experienced BOTH miscarriage and stillbirth, my heart goes out to your friend.

The grief counselor at my hospital also suggested "Empty Cradle, Broken Heart." I ordered it, but it hasn't come in yet, so I don't have a personal opinion of it. My thoughts go out to both you and your friend.

There is one called "Gone to soon" by Sherri Devasharayee Wittwer that is amazing.

I just read a book called Heaven Is For Real and I found it very reassuring. I'be read about 5 books and it was the only one that uplifted me a bit.

Empty Cradle Broken Heart was my bible for months after loosing Ty. I still read it today and I liked it so much that for my Charity (Memory Ty's) I am including a copy of the book in each memory box we donate. I read quite a few other ones, A Silent Sorrow was another one that sticks out....there were about 8 more but none helped me as much as those two.

I agree, Empty Cradle, Broken Heart helped me a lot. I also just got 'Heaven is for Real' I plan on starting it later tonight, I have heard that it is a very uplifting story though.

I finished "heaven is for real" the other night. It was wonderful. I read it in one sitting. I like that one a lot too. Very uplifting.
