This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
I don't know what to tell you about ttc - my best friend has PCOS and has been trying for 3 yrs without success. Metformin, clomid, now injections... it breaks my heart that this happens to you lovely ladies. It's just not fair.
I do know that you will breathe again, you will be able to go on although it feels impossible right now. You are surrounded by supportive, caring people here on DS and you can always lean on us.
i too have pcos, it took years to have our first son, and then took 2 years to get pregnant again with matilda ( who was stillborn).
the hospital suggested i try the GI PCOS diet as they have realised that pcos is caused by too much sugar and processed foods, which will lead to diabetes and other health issues.
already i have lost over a stone in weight (in 8 weeks). basically u cut out sugar and glucose and fat, and stick to wholemeal alternatives for pasta, bread etc and eat fruit and stick to low fat milk, cheese. i use agave syrup to sweeten drinks.
it takes a lot of label checking on foods but its nicer than metformin ( which made me sick and put weight on). i don't even crave sweet foods or junk food any more, and hoping as my waist is reappearing that my pcos will get better too.
i seem to eat less now, and feel loads better. mail me for more info if you want to chat about it.
