Yes! I had and still do have anxiety. I can not stand being around a lot of people, it overwhelms me! I feel it has lessened in the two months since Aubrey's been gone, but I am going to a wedding this weekend that I am in and I am nervous as hell to see people I haven't seen yet...and to be a "part" of the spotlight. I hate people looking at me and I get anxiety ridden....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't be too bad, but I really do know what you mean. You are not alone!!

I was ativan, going to the park would start a panic attack. Anywhere I thought someone would ask me about Jaden I would feel like someone was sucking the oxygen away from me. It's not so bad now but their are days when I wish I could just pop a pill and calm down (can't because I'm pregnant). I just focus on my breathing and when I think I'm going to be in a situation that will start an attack I bring a buffer like my husband or friend and it's not so bad anymore.

I find that anxiety tends to show itself in very different ways. I don't want to be around large groups of people. I feel like I have a big sign on my stomach that says "Baby Died on Board" but l still look like "Baby on Board" and it's nobody's business.

Then again, I also feel that people should be able to tell what I have gone through by looking at me...but I know that those who don't know me can't...so at times I feel like we are carrying around this invisable tragedy and that makes it worse.

All of these conflicting feelings are part of the anxiety I think..atleast for me. It manifests itself differently for different people.

I had it bad. I still have it to some extent. It was worse for me in the mornings. I would flip out ( panic attack) because I couldn't find the mate to my sock or I couldn't find the pants I was going to wear to work. I was also crying all the time. I called my OB and he put me on Lexapro. It helped take enough of the edge off so that I could deal with my day.
I also did not take enough time for me. Looking back I needed more time to deal with what had happened and should not have jumped back into the "normal" so quickly. I hope you can find something that will help you. Take care.

I had anxiety attacks before getting pregnant but never had to be on any medication for them. After losing Amariah the doctors put me on Ativan which basically just knocked me for a loop and I couldn't get anything done because all I did was sleep. I've stopped taking the Ativan and yes I still have the anxiety attacks but with a lot of prayer and my anti-depressants I think I'm making it ok. If I have an extremely bad day I will take an Ativan and just go to bed because I can't deal with it.

I never had them before I lost my son but afterwards oh my god it was horrible I couldnt walk out of the house without freaking out that something was going to happen to my husband and other kids. I used to love taking a motorcycle ride with my husband but after everytime I got on Id picture my head being smacked against the street in an accident it was horrible.

But it has got better finally for me

I still have problems with anxiety. I actually sped home from the grocery store today even though I also had other errands to do because I was convinced someone had broke into my house while I was gone and my dog had run away. (My dog & house were fine by the way...). Anxiety is a completely normal part of a traumatic loss. My anxiety actually started a month before I delivered my angel because I kept thinking nothing "felt right."
