So its only my 4th day back to work, I only took off 2 weeks after loosing my son at 21weeks. Im having a really hard me readjusting. Anyways, my bosses were really insensitive about the whole thing. My hr manager didnt even know who I was. Mind you I have worked as a manager for this company for over 4 yrs and the company isnt that big. Im just having a hard time working for people who could care less about me. It takes all I have not to slap someone! Sorry just needed to vent!

Same thing happened to me when I lost Oliver at 34 weeks, I went back to work 2 weeks later because my bosses where throwing a fit about me being off and treated me like crap, I ended up having a complete melt down at work 2 months later, got another job and quit. I'm a nurse.

I HAVE HAD SIMILAR FEELINGS. I WORK FOR AN INSENSITIVE COMPANY. MIND YOU NOT EVERYONE HAS BEEN A "DONKEY" BUT, THERE IS A HUGE HANDFUL OF COWORKERS AND MANAGERS ABOVE ME THAT HAVE BEEN SUPER INSENSITIVE AND COMPLETELY MEAN. I HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO LEAVE THE COMPANY AND I AM MOVING ACROSS THE STATES TO GET AWAY FROM MOST OF IT. IT IS HARD TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CARE OR AT EVEN TRY TO PRETEND. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU!

I am planning my escape from this hellish job. I hope after jan I can be free of their insensitivities. It amazes me how horrible people can be sometimes!

I have two jobs. I work full time from home which has been great since I can work anytime I want and don't have to see or talk to anyone. I'm going back to my second/part time job in two weeks. I am a little nervous about being in an 'outside world' and dealing with people. Unfortunately not everyone is supportive and caring. I am going to try my best not to take anything personal and think that some people just have no idea what to say or do. Loosing babies is an unimaginable thing to go through. Only people who went through truly understand our emotions. I think it's important that we have to stay true to our feelings and only focus on positive things/people in your life. I am sorry to hear you're having a hard time readjusting. I hope it gets better!!

Thank you. I am usually a really positive person but this has been a struggle. I hope soon I will have more positive employers and coworkers. Good luck to you in your return to work. I hope things go well. Keep me updated. I will be thinking about you

Thank you for venting. I am so sorry you have to return to work so soon. You deserve way better form your employer, but I understand it's not always easy to find another job. I hope you can find the support you need from here and other places - you deserve it
