Hi everyone. I have been thinking I want to make an apt with my ob and have a bunch of questions answered. I have a whole list already from things about other possible causes that were not tested for to why do they think he passed on Friday and questions about my last apt and I want to tell them how incompetent the staff is and so on. Anyhow, does anybody have any questions that they have asked or want to ask that I may find helpful to ask? I of course want all the statistics on my weight, gestational diabetes, and smoking prior to my pregnancy being causes. I feel that we have been blown off and nothing has been explained to us. I don't even know what all tests they ordered... I just know they were all normal... whatever they are. I just need my concerns finally addressed once and for all. Then I'm going to find a different Dr because I am not at all pleased with them. We will see how this apt goes. Anyways, I just really want to make sure I have every question answered that I may think of later or might not have been thinking of now. Thanks everyone.
I also asked for statistics of stillbirths at my doctor's office and at the hospital where I delivered. That was for my own curiousity.
I have been having different rounds of blood tests done, and seeing different doctors. So we talked about that too. Be sure that they explain what the tests mean, sometimes doctors talk in medical jargon and think that we know what they are saying. Ask them to explain if you don't understand something.
That's good that you are thinking about your questions beforehand, be sure to write them down too. Once you are sitting in that office again, your mind goes blank.
