It is really not her job to parent you..
The only thing i can suggest is that maybe you can join job corp?
I left home at 16 because it was unbearable. I did just fine.
It is a really tough road to follow, but i was determined.
What do you think?
Secondly, I am also a step daughter. At first, when my new Mom entered in the picture, I was mad at my Dad for treating her and his new family better than his first family. I wasn't that nice to her, wasn't mean either. Then I realized, I was the one angry at my Dad and she was a really great women. My father passed away and she treats me like I was her own.
Lastly, I had to go out on my own at a very young age. I thought I knew everything. Guess what? I didn't. It was extremely tough, EXTREMELY. It would be in your best interest to show this women a little respect and try your best to get along with her. You are in this situation like it or not. You should do everything in your power to make the best of it. You seem like you're old enough to know what's going on and can help your own situation. Often times step parents are blamed for our parents mistakes. Is it her fault your Dad left you with her? Try and have some compassion for a women who is probably doing her best to help YOU.
