Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
I'm so sorry to hear what a terrible position you are in. You do not deserve to be treated that way. Being on testosterone is no excuse to treat someone the way your partner has been treating you.
I don't have a lot of experience with how hormones change people (my partner is MtF and isn't currently taking hormones yet) but I have read stories where people's partners have unfortunately changed into completely different people.
No matter how much you love your partner please remember to love yourself as well. You deserve to be treated with respect. From what you've written about holes in walls I'm scared that things could potentially escalate in the future.
I am so sorry to hear that your partner has changed so much and you've lost your best friend. Maybe try going to therapy together to work out where all this agression is coming from. If you can't work through this I'd strongly suggest thinking about separating, you don't deserve to be trapped in an unhappy marriage with a person you barely recognise.
Kind regards,
Chrissie
