Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...

I often wish my partner would have more therapy - a lot of his feelings come from not liking himself, including the physical, and I sometimes wonder if the trans stuff is just masking that. But maybe that's a pipe dream/wishful thinking.
You must be so exhausted by all this,I feel for you.
About six months ago I told him I’d be transitioned I’d leave him. So he said he wouldn’t. But then he was in the hospital for suicidal threats at which point I told him I’ll try to stay with him through it.
It is very annoying to go back and fourth. My husband did it for a very long time.
I have found that being transparent and honest about how I’m feeling regarding all of it has really helped.
I even communicate my dislikes and concerns about our marriage ending, with him.
The more I communicate with him the happier I actually am.
Recently I had a very hard time with the transition and I was crying everyday all day for a week.
He mentioned not transitioning and I told him that wasn’t an option this time because I’m tired of seeing him so miserable.
Therapy really helps.
If you’re not already going, you should see a couples therapist.
