Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
Sending you hugs xx
I have said numerous times that I think I could have gotten past the transition part. My biggest problem has been the deceit and lack of trust. Additionally, my spouse's personality has changed drastically. Really, though, I can't love and respect someone I can't trust. Additionally, my spouse wants to flirt and date men, and well, I'm just not okay with that - not as long as we were committed to each other anyway.
But that is just me. We all have our own path and what we are and are not comfortable with.
But yes, those ups and downs can be tough, and finding where we now fit can be tough.
1. experimentation by visualizing my spouse as female (mtf) was interesting and fun. once she lost interest in the idea of penetration, or it became apparent that penetration would be a lost cause, I realized damn! i'm going to miss that!
2. I could probably handle her having breasts, even liked them possibly, but if the down below changed, that would have felt like a loss
3. What really destroyed our marriage is like 1newstart said: the fact that my spouse's personality changed with her pronouns. My soon to be ex spouse lied to me when she married me, and this has been made clear by things she's said. She also got controlling and cruel with me. Finally, she favored her sister over me, and this was made clear. I WILL NOT be a sister wife in a marriage. I am monogamous, or not married at all.
4. The strap on was purchased by her months before coming out to me and didn't appeal to me at.all. This would have been a problem if I had stayed married to her.
