First to go was airlines then restaurants.Over the years since is all indoor events and now outdoor events. 50 feet from the entrance of a store. The smoking areas are now out the back,down the alley and around the building.
When we smoked, these were such an inconvience for us. But smoking is on the decline (thank god)around the world.

Nowadays, things are so very different. There cannot be many people on the planet who do not know the damage it does to our bodies. It is socially unacceptable. And as for the cost!!!.
Here we all are, trying desperately to quit.
With all of this, I find it difficult to believe that people are starting to smoke. I do not know how the young people can afford it. I wish there was some way of reaching them and saying DO NOT DO THIS but of course if we do say it they are even more likely to do it.
It would be nice to think that in 10 years time there would be no need for people to have to join support groups to give up smoking.
