still smoking but waiting on my book that was suggested... and only half of what i normally smoke was smoked yesterday!!

I was lucky to have only 1 friend that smoked and she understood my quest. We talked on the phone most days but I didn't see her for 3 months

I agree with MayberryDeb Jessica. I think you are putting yourself in harms way by going to be with several smokers.....way too tempting.
When you get stronger, it may be a different story (that's a maybe...only you will know).
Getting together with a bunch of smokers is no different than an alcoholic sitting in a bar (long term quitter or not).
If they are truly your friends, they will understand and even commend you for doing what is right for you.
Once I quit......I made the smokers go outside without me which at first made me feel left out.....but I quickly changed my attitude into a "who cares....I gotta do what is good for me."
Hang in there cuz temptation is at your doorstep. Stay strong and hang with us....watch a movie. Find a non smoking friend to hang with or go to the movies with. You can do this!!!!!!!
I do appreciate the support and it is one of the rougher days of the week for me. I wake up in the morning knowing that I'm facing a battle. But I will win. I'm determined to win.
