Bear in mind that quitting must involve complete abstinence. Nothing short of that will be effective. Same goes for drinking.
(I'm here on this site due to nicotine addiction/e-cigs. I'm on day 5 or 6 continuous no e-smoking or nicotine. My jones'ing for nicotine has mostly abated. Now, I'm finding the habit of having something in my hand or mouth is poking its' ugly head out. But I have sour candy, jawbreakers & a journal to write in.)
