It doesn't mean anything. It's like being on a diet. So you ate that cake yesterday. No sweat. Today is a new day. :) Wipe the slate clean.

You have to cry from now on. you have to let yourself cry. you have to use a new method of getting the pain out. Smoking just stuffs it down your body. And quitting can mean it all wants to come out again.
So go ahead and cry. You have suffered a terrible loss: you have the right to express that grief.
As to baby, if you know she is well and happy, it will help. Asking for the photos was a good idea.
