If your hubby is a successful quitter, is he supportive of your quit?? My hubby quit over 30 years ago but still wasn't a huge support for me when my FINAL quit came. I found all the support I needed here with this 'family'. WE ALL know what you are going thru as we have been there too. Quit for yourself but the added bonus will be seeing your son grow up.
Yes, my husband is very supportive. He quit 8 months ago and I made it for about 3 months at the beginning of the year before I caved. I told him last week that I was going to try to quit again and he said, "Win, lose or draw I support you. Trying to quit and trying again and trying again until it sticks is the right thing to do." He's been very helpful in keeping stress levels low for me.
He also told me last night that we can start a jar to set aside $25-50 a week for every week I don't smoke. We're going to do it in a physical jar rather than a bank account so I can literally SEE the money I'm saving. If I make to next summer we should have enough money set aside for a nice family vacation.
I'm going to start checking in every day again. Thank you everyone for your support!
