I found it hard to be a passenger for a short while as you do get a bit bored in the car. Also my husband smokes whilst driving so that tempted me even more.
Now I just chew gum and savor the fresh minty taste, knowing i don't smell anymore! Also, crank the volume up on the radio and sing your little heart out - it works for me (even though you do get some funny looks!)
After a few drives it'll get easier,i promise. It's just another little habit that once broken a few times, doesn't seem so hard to avoid xx
Most smokers will identify driving a car and smoking a cig. They justseem to go together. You need to change your concept of driving/smoking.I chewed on, sucked on,breathed thru cut straws. I felt great.Helped me greatly with driving tension.
Other people also have great ideas. Look in past posts. Good Luck

Smoking is rapidly becoming so anti-social that you cannot even smoke in your own home ,if some official of some sort is coming to your home. You have to have not smoked,I think it is for 20mins before hand and aired your home out.All good for us non-smokers.
I do feel for those still smoking though. Not envy just sorry that they are getting so isolated now.
