I'm crying, I'm not sad, I'm not depressed, I'm just crying. It feels like when I was pregnant, BUT I'M NOT. I put this in my journal and found two others who had the same problem when they quit (thanks to both of you, misery loves company). Also, is anyone else dreaming that they are smoking. This started when the doctor put me on Chantix. Look forward to your replies. My doctor can't explain it, maybe one of you can. Look forward to hearing from you.

It is so nice to know that I am not the onlly one crying too! I can be fine one minute and start really having an outpour the next. I am mad inside and can't explain why, bec no one is making me quit. It is frustrating bec I can't seem to concentrate or want to socialize. Any helpful ideas??

I have to say that I have been moody. Yesterday at work I just yelled at my boss, and almost started to cry. i have no patience for being overwhelmed and stress like I did before I quit. Is my brain more aware? did nicatine clogged the brain? or is it because i still want cigerettes when these stressful times. Yeah these are mood changes.

I recall crying too when I first went on Chantix. I felt that I was losing my best friend; the one who was always with me no matter what. But that friend was killing me so I had to let her/him go. I'm not good at letting go; control has always been my mainstay. This was hard but it did pass. Harder still was the routine behavior of smoking. I didn't know who I was without a cig - it was such a part of who I was. I hope this helps.
