Welcome to the group.
Keep yourself busy, busy, busy. Change up your routine. Have an incentive and post it where you can see it often. Throw out ALL cigarettes, ash trays, lighters, etc.
Do not go out to the smoking spots with friends or family.
Know that when you get a urge that it will last for around 5 minutes.....so keep busy!!!!!
KEEP POSITIVE!!!!! If you look at your quit like you are losing your best friend, chances are you will fail. If you keep positive and hang onto your sense of humor, your chances are higher at staying quit.
Check in daily for the check in and pledge....it keeps you honest and responsible to yourself and others. Come here as often as necessary for support and venting.....sharing victories is always good as well.

Download a quitmeter that will help you stay motivated and track your quit. Come here each day for the pledge and rollcall as that will keep you motivated and accountable
Remember you can do this its hard but its doable and your lungs will love you for it
