Welcome to the forum here. Happy that you have quit smoking today! Check out the "good posts" and do some reading, very helpful posts, Its in your upper right hand corner-under groups heading.
There are five D's that help when a crave hits:
Deep breaths, delay, distract, drink water, discuss (DS for reading, posting & support) or talk to another supportive person of your quit. Just remember its a day at a time, or sometimes its just minutes at a time.

Please come here daily and check in and let everyone know where you are -- how many days smoke free or if you have had a set back. IT REALLY DOES WORK!
Thanks for the welcome, I'm here and doing a lot better than expected, although this time I'm prepared for cravings after a long time. I stopped smoking before and was feeling great, then two months later I woke up like a drug addict that needed a fix,,, nothing happened to make me want to smoke again, I was caught totally off guard, now I'm aware that it can happen. Thank you all for sharing this difficult time with me.
