Friday will be 6 weeks since my last cigarette.I did go 8 years with out but with anxiety it seems to calm me but in the long run it only makes it worse when you have the urge for 1.which at times I been wanting 1. I honestly wish they were healthy for you. But it was my husband and kids what kept me motivated to stop.

Just saw this as I haven't been to this board in a long time. Instead I hang out spining my wheels on pol;itical sites raisng my blood pressure. LOL So hopefully by now you are around 40 days without a cigarette? If not here's hoping you are on at least day 1

When Friday comes it will be 7 weeks. My anxiety has improved so much and I will have $490.00saved in an envelope since I was spending g $70 a week on cigarettes and I still get urges but there a lot less than before.I feel a dramatic increase in energy.
