Sleep Apnea Support Group
Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder characterized by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep. People with sleep apnea partially awaken as they struggle to breathe, but in the morning they may not be aware of sleep disturbances.

If you are like me you don't read all the instructions before starting to use something, like this site. Right underneath the name of this community "Sleep Apnea" is a bar of green choices. If you are reading this you are in "Discussions" Right next to it is "Recommendations". If you click on it you will see my recommendation for a site for technical information on the condition and the equipment.
Who should go there? Well frankly everyone who has an interest in the topic but especially the following
-people who think they may have the condition
-people who are about to be tested
-people who are about to get a machine
-people who have a machine but have trouble adapting
-people in the military who have OSA
and people in my situation, who have fully effective cpap treatment (15 years now for me) but who still have residual cognitive/brain fog/hypersomnia problems (I am now on Provigil)
For a while I was direct messaging a lot of the new entrants to this community but the traffic here has picked up quite a bit and I am about to go back to work.
I am not telling people to go to the other site instead of this one, it serves a different purpose and people with technical problems are more likely to find others with the same experience there (over 10,000 registered users specifically interested in sleep).
I will now just occasionally reply to this message to keep it near the top of the topics so new entrants will see it.
Good luck to everyone

Replying to myself to get this back on the front page. I am seeing a lot more new members of this community with problems/questions in their profiles. Posting on the site I mentioned will bring several responses from people who went through the same problems.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
